Let me take a minute to share with everyone who may be or not be using WordPress. Saturday January 23rd you can learn how to develop sites with WordPress at the WordChalk conference. Classes will discuss installing, customizing, and coding themes. You can learn more by visiting the signup page. This is a local event in Birmingham, Alabama. However you can still remote into the conference.

WordChalk is a small group class where you learn straight from an expert. Open discussion is welcomed, and students enjoy sharing and learning together. Bring your laptop and follow along, or just bring a pen and paper to take notes.

Over the last few years I’ve been complimented on finding “cool” sites that others seem to miss.  I don’t consider it any special talent or anything like that. I do love to find new gadgets or inspiration from all over the net.  Taking the hint from friends I’m now going to try and create a daily or at least weekly account of sites to visit. I figured I’d  start with five sites. That seems to be large enough to encompass a good variety, yet small enough to view easily through a busy day.  If you like this, please share it with others. So many times I find myself asking how do I ______ on a Mac? I have always enjoyed working on a Mac, but it seemed every job I had until now required PC use.  Not to say I’m Mac illiterate, but it usually will involve a random and meticulous search on Google or some other search engine (Is there another?) for answers. At any cost it, I spend many hours searching around for tips and tricks for Mac computers. Only to find myself doing it again because I can’t remember it the second time months down the road.
